Context Media is aggressively growing its content strategy in the Australasian region with the development and acquisition of an exciting slate of new original, as well as highly successful international, prime-time television formats. And to fuel this growth ambition we are actively seeking new partners to work with either through format licensing or co-productions across Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia.
As a nimble, innovative and adaptive content creator we are always seeking new and innovative ways to bring content initiatives to market. In line with this strategy, Context Media and Omnicom Media Group have agreed to work together across a range of content acquisition, development and production opportunities for the Australian and Asian marketplace. Under this arrangement, Omnicom will invest directly into Context Media productions, then seek their return on investment via airtime and inventory trading arrangements directly with broadcast / media platform partners across the region.
Context Media’s Managing Director, Peter Jenetsky heralded the arrangement with Omnicom Media Group as an “exciting and inventive step for both companies. Context Media was founded in 2013 with the firm belief that the rapidly evolving media landscape would also bring on major disruption to the content marketplace. And we are thrilled that Omnicom, one of the leading global advertising, marketing and communications companies shares this view and has chosen to work with Context Media to help drive this innovation.
